A photo of the students who are a part of the wonderful group within our local Wellington Heights High School, is on our Facebook Page as well as our photo album here on our website! These donations directly benefit children within the Wellington North Community! ~Thank you~ Jr. C All-Stars Game Hanover will be the site of the annual classic between the Western Junior C all-stars and the all-stars from the Georgian Bay Mid-Ontario league. The winning league will have home-ice advantage in the first round of the OHA Junior C playoffs. Steve Barrett, general manager of the league champion Walkerton Hawks, has been selected as the general manager of the Western Junior C all-star team. Walkerton Hawks coach Jeff Reid will be the head coach of the all-stars with Mount Forest’s Matt Mullin and Kincardine’s Jeff Alcombrack as assistants. League convener Steve Coulter will serve as a special assistant to the all-star process. The Western Junior C all-star team will be announced at noon Nov. 25. The all-star game will take place at 2:30 Dec. 4 and will be preceeded by a prospects game between the best young players in both leagues. That team will be selected by league convener Steve Coulter. The Western Junior C prospects team will be coached by Hanover’s Eric Hopkins. Ideal Supply is the corporate sponsor of the Western Junior C Hockey League.
